Welcome

The Johnson City Community Concert Band (JCCCB) was formed in 1983 by faculty members of East Tennessee State University to allow local musicians to play challenging wind ensemble music. Now, 40 years later, the band is led by Dr. Christian Zembower and is comprised of approximately 85 brass, woodwind, and percussion instrumentalists from the Tri-Cities area who are professional, semi-professional, and amateur musicians. They volunteer their time and talent to enriching our community through live musical performance. JCCCB presents a year-round series of six free concerts at a wide range of both indoor and outdoor venues. JCCCB operates as a 501(c)(3), not-for-profit, Tennessee corporation and is funded entirely through donations and membership.
